Please Don't Go
I'll eat you up, I love you so.
I’m off to get married soon! The future is coming and here is photo of me walking into it:
And because of that and other reasons, my time has been a little more eaten up lately.
Planning a wedding is it’s own strange beast (I highly recommend this substack on the subject) and even though we’re doing something very bare bones, we have still spent a large portion of the last few months having very serious discussions about puffballs. Which colour (all of them) how many (all of them). Here is a photograph of my suitcase as we hop on the plane today:
Season 6 of Summer Camp is also gearing up to be rereleased on Cartoon Network in the next few months (!!) and I’ve started working on some new projects as well.
So for now, in this time altered era, this substack will be shifting a little too.
My posts will no longer adhere to a weekly schedule but when I do post you can still expect in depth deep dives, updates on my work, and my own drawings, ceramics and writing. I am hoping that not having to keep to a weekly schedule (that no one gave me but myself) will lead to posts fueled more by blind obsession. You’re welcome or apologies in advance.
I have officially made all my previous posts free (oh baby!) And I won’t be posting anything with a paywall for now.
I continue to want this place to feel like a community - one where we can have dialogues about what inspires us. With that in mind please share in this post anything that has been inspiring you lately and perhaps i’ll do a deep dive about it in the future.
I will share a post later with all the paid content that is now available. But for now, here is a Summer Camp favourite about time:
If you are able to keep supporting slow motion multitasking as a paid subscriber, I cannot tell you how meaningful it is to me. The paid subscriber model has helped me stay afloat as I develop new ideas and everyone’s support and encouragement of this substack over the last 6 months has been so life altering. Slow Motion Multitasking, and all of you, helped me find my voice again after a year or so of feeling without it.
A reminder that if you become a founding member you also get an original illustration sent to you in the post! Exhibit B (for bunny):
Thank you so much for reading - I hope you enjoy the many paid posts that are now running free in the wild and I can’t wait to read about what you’ve all been obsessed with lately.

Hope you have an awesome wedding! I’ve been obsessed with reading takes on job automation from before 1970 and comparing them with fears about generative models today. Particularly Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut.
The fact that there is one of you, amazing are you are, is already a pretty lucky thing.
But now there will be two of you, so lucky it's bizarre, all sealed up tight with puffballs and a ring.
You asked what was inspiring us, what's keeping us afloat, what magic makes the wild weird world worthwhile.
Right now it's you and your beloved... sorry, your Betrothed. To both, the best.
And thank you for the smile.
