Happy Birthday week Mom! I was going through some old diary entries from 2015 and I found this extract from May:

My mother called me yesterday to inform me she had 5 cakes for her birthday, but that she was also counting the little ones.

One should always count the little ones. I hope you get ten this year mom.

In other news Summer Camp Island is coming back to Cartoon Network! They will start playing season one through five starting June 5th. It is still unclear if it will ever be back on a streaming service which is of course the ultimate dream, but we remain hopeful.

I’m going to dedicate a few upcoming posts to each season, the lore, behind the scenes etc. But for now, the meat of the day.

I lied to you the other day. A lie of omission, yes, but a lie all the same.

We all had a good time reminiscing about 101 Dalmatians, we talked about the author, Dodie Smith, and her other works - Dear Octopus and Autumn Crocus. But within it all, there was one key thing missing. Those in the know spotted it, those not in the know could probably feel it.
