Wow very beautiful! Thank you! Where I live we also get sun dogs! When there are a lot of ice crystals in the air you get two little rainbow dots on either side of the sun sometimes, another beautiful part of winters here!
As a queer person, I make the choice of having both biological and chosen family. (And this also wonderfully applies to anyone, straight or queer, to choose their family all with the pupose of loving more and more people). Now, this beautiful article inspired me and unlocked my mind to think further: that I can also choose my ancestors. I extend my ancestors beyond grandparents and relatives of blood from my land and history to also include our LGBT heroes from different countries. Right now, I'm thinking of those who fought freedom and love in San Francisco, USA, where the Rainbow symbol originated.
Love and admiration from the Philippines. I thank you so much for having thought of writing about Rainbows.
This is so great, Julia! Love anytime we learn more about Moonbows! I also think Fogbows (ghost rainbows) are pretty incredible—what a concept. Thanks for another great newsletter.

One of the most intriguing pieces I have read this month - and so interesting to discover moonbows and fogbows!
